  2. Traverse City, MI. Large, maybe 50+ feet? 2 masted sailboat. Schooner or ketch maybe. Docked on Lake Michigan. Red banner flying on top mast “Miami OH”

Lake Geneva Wisconsin. Approximately 900 houses have lakefront footage and docks. It is a long standing tradition to have your college flags flying and I saw two houses with Miami flags a couple of weeks ago.

Not sure if this is the right place on the site, but do any old-school MHTers remember the small-town hotel on the way to the highway (I think it was Eaton) which always listed “NO VACANCY” but you could get a very short-term rental with an “employee” if you asked the clerk at the Front Desk for “change for a penny”?
