I was hoping next contract would have been with Nike, not a fan of adidas stuff. Oh well not the end of the world

Legitimate question, does the choice of athletic supplier even really matter that much in the MAC? I’m assuming most decisions are made by the athletic department and their designers regardless.

Nike is currently in a downward spiral. Lost 75% of share value in 5 years. They had segmented to heavily online, with attempting to make limited edition shoes and throwbacks a profit driver, but failing at it. Adidas and Asics have seen tremendous growth during this time, and I think it’s a good partnership to have.
Adidas takes care of us, equipment wise, incredibly well for a school our size.
