Weren’t they budget cut victims and wound up self funding for all their expenses. A while ago a friend at church had a son on the team and I made a contribution their golf team fund. Anybody know of the athletic departments $$$ comittment today?
According to the latest report, 282k in student fees go to golf and 172k in direct institutional support, so Miami funds the team a total of 454k-ish. 128k goes to golf through contributions, so its about 20% funded by support outside Miami.
