Until you knock down King. I’m led to believe the YUTES don’t use physical libraries anyway.
I flew out of there while taking flight lessons. You gotta think the cost of this would be prohibitive.
The Butler County regional airport is 18 miles from Millett and has a 5500 foot runway.
The Middletown airport runway is 6100 feet and is about 23 miles away.
I would imagine these both would be options for charter flights for regional jet type size aircraft which is usually in the 4500 foot range. No need to lengthen MU-Oxford unless Trustees have money to burn someplace.
If doing charters there would be no need to go to DAY or CVG.
By the way, I am sure Xavier charters flew out of Lunken most of the time. Its runway lengths are 6100 and 5100 feet.
Middletown and Butler Regional just as adequate as Lunken for charters.
FWIW - Dayton Wright Brothers airport has a 5K runway, 33 miles away. Think we have used this in the past?
