Our game vs Nebraska got moved to Arrowhead
MUCH easier to get to at least.
What’s in this for Nebraska? Arrowhead is 200 miles from Lincoln, and it seats right 10K fewer people.
Alumni get to see their team beat up on an opponent with more comfort.
They say it’s 8/27. We and FBS Schedules say 9/11.
I have a good friend that lives in NE, who’s also Division II cheerleading coach. I was going to visit her and go to the game.
While flights are likely easier, it makes it less likely she can go. And I don’t want to go by myself
Looks like it’s Friday night 8/27. I’d rather Chuck ruin my Friday than Saturday.
KC MO or KC KS?

“The movie … or the Planet?”
Better there than on Nebraska’s campus for sure!
I guess it’s moved to week 0
Says Sep 11
No rational Miami fans are making that trip if Chuck is in charge to see us lose 49-7.
Good BBQ.
Same. Except my connection is the media archivist for Nebraska. Despite working for the school, she’s never been to a Huskers game. I told her that her first Nebraska game would also be her first Miami game. There goes that opportunity. Well, I was looking forward to Lincoln. The silver lining is that KC is a direct flight.
Of course right now, unfortunately, on a scale of 1-10, the desire to see Miami football is the negative integers.
Yeah right now I don’t have a desire to travel to see a game.
2027 is a milestone birthday and that 2 of the 4 trips I planned have disappeared bugs me.
My friend is definitely the type that went to a d2 school but roots for the major team in her state. Though she does watch November Miami games in espn. I’m trying to get her to watch the Cradle of Coaches doc
Nebraska is renovating their stadium and it sounds like they expect it won’t quite be ready at the beginning of next season
Most logical explanation.
KC MO
The new football stadium will go on the Kansas side. The new Royals ballpark will go in towards downtown KC MO
Well, with Lincoln out, now I’m leaning in the direction of scrapping the Nebraska game and pouring the regular season travel budget into Purdue.
