Chuck vs Cig could be one of the biggest mismatches in world history.
At least one of these coaches will not be coaching that 2028 gameā¦
I love David Sayler but an Indiana series doesnt excite me. First of all Cignetti runs the score up. Second I am guessing the guarantee of a 60k stadium is less than 100k. If we are going to get bludgeoned I would much rather play OSU or Michigan or Penn State. One Indiana game is fine but two seems like too many. Now if we got $2m then maybe I will change my mind
Why those teams over Indiana? The Hoosiers are the premier B10 team now.
The money is the only reason, assuming RS is correct about the guarantee being less because the stadiumās smaller.
That shouldnāt matter anymore with the TV revenue they are bringing inā¦.
Iād surmise IU has fewer suitors for their buy games these days if they donāt match the going rate being paid by tOSU, Michigan, etc.
In the past, maybe schools would accept less from IU as you figured you could make a game out of it. Total guess here by me.
Regarding Cignetti not taking his foot off the accelerator, I seem to recall Dayās team scoring 77 straight on Miami.
I also think going to Michigan or Ohio State is a way more impressive venue. Memorial Stadium is an overgrown MAC stadium
but my other reason is Indiana is really good and will run up the score (so does osu)
I would rather play ACCs or lesser Big 10s IF the money is the same. I havent seen the money yet.

Indiana too small of a guarantee then to do twice
But Purdue is fine?
Bloomington is a fun town,too.
By next year Purdue might be good but more money and better chance of victory and just one game
Shows as 2027 and 2031.
