Dude, take your alliance for another sports franchise and stuff it. This is about the opportunity for current Miami students to get the chance to work in professional sports. If Miami students can take their knowledge and apply them to real world situations that lead to improvement within a professional sports franchise, that’s a gigantic win-win for Miami

Mike Brown probably wants some NIL money.

Well no, I don’t think the primary goal of Miami paying 2.7 million is to get a couple student internships even if that’s part of the deal. Clearly it’s an advertising play to get Miami’s brand more prominently in front of the Cincinnati audience, which isn’t unreasonable.

And in a sports context too which could help shift the culture to get students who are more willing to support the teams

And wasn’t there something mentioned about the Bengal mascot Growlie ( Bennie?, Whodey?) coming to Miami for appearances? You can’t put a price on something like that!!

It’s kind of a cool move, IMHO. Linking Miami to the most popular sport in the Cincitucky area seems like a positive…

Brilliant marketing move. No wonder it took months of negotiating.

Think about the exposure outside the tri state area.

When teams visit the Bengals their fans will see the Miami name pop up around the stadium complex via whichever carrier broadcasting the game.

Miami has always fared well in the Chicago, NY, NJ, DET, IND metro areas.

Just sayin
