Seven years ago today…We led the 6th-ranked Bucks 5-0, and had out-gained them 77-2! Myles Reid forced a fumble out of the back of the end zone, and Sam Sloman kicked a 21-yard field goal.

Of course…We had a first and goal at the OSU three yard line (up 2-0) but naturally settled for the field goal.

The final, by the way, was 76-5.

That game happened the same day as my sister’s wedding in Colorado. Right after the late morning ceremony I saw it was 5-0 and told my brother “if we pull this off I’ll run down this mountain naked,” missed it by just a hair.
