+/- isnāt a great stat, but I think Elmer is the team leader so far.
People can feel whatever the hell they want. Itās going to be ok. This team we are playing doesnāt suck. We still win.

Looks like we wore them down.
Up by 15 with 40 seconds left. Now bow down to the greatness that is Yellow. Also, pop a quallude if you overreacted and thought weād lose. We are gonna be great. And donāt sleep on this team we beat. Excellent coach, very solid history. They might make it to March. Anyhow, back to MU. As Braniff said: Believe it!!! We will be a tough out. I think we can go to the show. A ton of work to do to get there.

Last 4 for sure. Very nice way to finish the game. We also got more aggressive going to the hoop. Not a coincidence the two happened.
Guys, itās three games. At this point in the season a lot of Miami teams were still searching for a starting lineup

Iād like to be 3-0, but I figured weād be 2-1 at this point. Honestly, there was probably a greater chance of us being 1-2 than 3-0.
I want mz343 to weigh in, but I actually think we have serious potential. We look at a teamās ranking in the 300ās and everyone assumed we dust them. But maybe Appetizer State did that with us. I thought this team we played looked pretty correct and the stats bear some of this out. To me (limited knowledge of hoops, expert knowledge of stupidity and chaos) we start Luke Skywalker immediately. Will he hit the freshman wall down the road? Maybe. But ride that young pony until proven otherwise. I think Evan comes off the bench as a 6th man. Heās very smart, tough as nails, and generally makes excellent decisions. If he leads our second unit, we win a ton of games. Dan L still out. Maybe injured? Reece and our transfer from Rutgers on the court at the same time is a giant load to defend. Kam has an off night tnite but still hits double points. Heās a star. I kinda get excited writing this. Tons of work to do but look at the piece upgrades!

Them losing to Penn by 1 makes me think theyāre not terrible.
I donāt think the sky is falling.
But tough not to be a bit concerned. We havenāt looked amazing.
More importantly, whatās Maryland Eastern Shore doing with those extra scholarships? Iām willing to take 3ās and play some token defense.

It is possible that they just donāt have the money.
That may also be the reason they traveled to Oxford with only eight players.
If you think we have money problems just imagine what it must be for a historical HBCU playing D1 basketball with only 1,900 students. A very small base for student fee subsidy there.
