I have a question for the group that I honestly dont know. One of the sponsors of the protect college sports bill that congress was working on was Maria Cantwell. She is a Miami graduate. I have never seen her promoted by Miami. I have no idea if she would have Miami’s interests in mind during the legislation. Was there a falling out between her and the school? Or is it just that she lives too far away.
Never heard of her, but it’s pretty clear that the P4 schools are just bribing Congress to codify the exclusion of the majority of schools from revenue
