Toledo #28 and Miami #34 are both now getting votes in the AP poll.
I believe that’s the first time we’ve been in the “Orhers receiving votes” category since the final post-Bowl poll following the 2010 season (technically January of 2011).
Toledo went right down the field in 6 plays to take a very quick 7-0 lead. Then BG basically had the ball the rest of the half and put up 4 touchdowns. Before a big and rowdy BG crowd it is 28- 10 BG at the half.
NIU is up 14-0 over Western at the half while Eastern and Akron are tied 14-14.
NIU was impressive tonight…they have Kent next week so they should make it to bowl eligible…they might even be a decent bowl team if their running game holds up like tonight.
EMU might also get to 6-6 but they are not looking all that good.
