What do we know? OU, AK, and EMU are eliminated. Kent has the tiebreaker with Miami as they beat Ball State. We could get 4th if Kent loses both ( they have 2 tough games) and we win our two homes ( against teams who will be desperate to win). We have the tiebreaker with BG, the only way they could pass us for 5th is if they win 2 and we lose 2.
With one game to go, the 8 teams are set for Cleveland. Some seeds are still up in the air.

Kent’s Center Janae Tyler did not play and they lost by over 20 at BG. None the less, our loss means we cannot get the #4 seed. BG is now tied with us but we have the tiebreaker with them while Kent would have the tiebreaker over us. We would much rather play #4 Kent than #3 Buffalo, so that makes our game vs NIU Saturday very important to us.
Further information. #4 seed is still quite possible if we end up in a 3 way tie with BG and Kent. That would require Kent to lose, both Miami and BG to win. That is actually very possible to happen. Kent is home against Toledo, BG is at Eastern, and Miami is home vs NIU.
Yes. First games on Wednesday and Thursday are at 11. Those are 4 game sessions, with a half hour between each game. Friday the women, semifinals start at 10:00. Then late that day the men’s semifinals are a separate session.
Brutal scheduling, especially since the men would be the last game of the night if they advance. Would probably have to try to book a last minute hotel room if both teams make it rather than doing a day trip.
