To make the joke less completely obvious, we’re going to call him “Gervin.”
Heard he was in for visit either last week or week before. Seems similar to Potter–not as tall, but a solid shooter from arc with length. High IQ and would fit in Miami’s offensive scheme as a stretch 4/5 similar to Potter. Not a big bodied banger though for anyone who wants that kind of front court player. I think we still need another big body type but he would be a solid bench roation player.

He was 3rd or 4th on the big man depth chart for Duquesne. A solid pick up but I don’t think he’s going to move the needle much. Barre is definitely not the paint presence that Okonkwo was.

Excellent. My plan is to be rolling in my 5.0 with the rag top down so my weave can blow into Oxford next fall to watch this guy and all our other talent kick ass. It’s a good day to be a fan.

Worth acknowledging the MAC is a half step down from the MVC. He likely will have more success here. He was also being asked to play center at Bradley most the time, which is not his natural position. I think if we view him as a guy off the bench for Elmer, rather than a Woolfolk, he will be a good fit. He has size and can shoot, but he’s not gonna be a lane clogger.
That only works if we get a guy who can play the 4/5 and help spell Woolfolk.

He is a nice addition. Rebounding is still needed but I’ll gladly take some additional excellent 3-point shooting.
