All games at Sun Belt gyms for this round. MAC currently up 5-4 and leading two of the other three. Miami, CMU, EMU, BG, and UMass have all won so far.

Looked pretty bad for awhile, glad it got turned around.
Ohio bumps the MAC to 6-4, beating USA by the same score we won by.
Hard to judge when you don’t know the talent level of opposing teams yet, but I thought Akron, UMass, and OU all looked impressive, in addition to us.
This could be a really good year for the MAC. A lot of new faces on all those teams, so we’ll see how they continue to look here in the early season.
Kent lost to LA Tech, who was picked to finish 12th in the SBC. Toledo trails preseason favorite Arkansas St. by 1 with 4:30 to go.
I think they are gonna be our biggest contenders
I don’t understand why they didn’t have a better record last year.
Akron makes it 7-4.
Arkansas St. wins thanks to a foul with 4 seconds left. Still, 7-5 is a great round for the MAC.
Full court baseball pass to a contested receiver when you still have 3 seconds on the clock is so stupid.

I rolled my eyes at soon as they threw that pass. That’s reserved for a second or less, and unless you’re the 1992 Blue Devils, it never works. With 2.8 seconds, receive the ball at 3/4 court, take 2, maybe 3, dribbles, and launch from less than half court.
I got a report that Buffalo is not good, only 2 guys worth a mention and no depth.
