Pretty much just behind Ivies and high prestige private schools
Interesting list. Forty private schools (including all 8 Ivy League schools) and ten public schools.
The public schools consist of;
12th - University of Virginia
24th - University of Illinois
30th - University of California-Berkeley
33rd - Purdue University
34th - University of Michigan
35th - Miami University
40th - Penn State University
46th - University of Texas-Austin
47th - Indiana University
50th - University of Wisconsin-Madison
Virginia, Miami, Michigan, Texas, and Cal-Berkeley were part of Richard Moll’s (1985) Public Ivies.
We’re the smallest public university on the list. Somewhat surprised UNC and William and Mary are not on the list, as they were both original public Ivys, too.
Interesting graphic. Miami benefits the second most from this ranking compared to the U.S. News ranking
Miami is 69 among public universities in the US News.
Interesting.
15- Ohio State University
32 - Pitt
81 - UC
97 - Ohio U.
According to LinkedIn:

Top industries: Technology & Internet, Medical Practices, Business Consulting & Services
Top locations: Cincinnati, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio
Most notable skills: Data Science, Scientific Computing, Advertising
I’m glad to see it’s MU here versus UM. That said, some dubious schools here. In my mind, we are a top 100 on all lists that matter.
The Miami ranking based on career success seems to fit nicely with our making the top 20 list of alumni millionaires. Not surprised by Babson with its long-time emphasis on the entrepreneurial track. Fairfield doesn’t surprise me either because of all the hedge fund peeps’ kids that probably attend the school.
Bentley is a bit of surprise but it is located in Boston’s Route 28 technology corridor.
