wow…I’m being irresponsible - that’s rich. Emotions clouding logic - yup, you truly do not know me. But that is the reality of message boards. This whole status of a program, athletic department and school reminds me of why I walked away from college athletics…that’s my as you say, unique position and I honestly have nothing left to give. And the “doesn’t appear to have any knowledge” statement…what? I never inferred she did. I said the athletic dept in general should do exit interviews of all…meaning not just seniors graduating or certain employees. And returning to the top…its all what kind of journey a department takes to get there. I say don’t compare Miami to the rest of the MAC. Use the sport science departments…no school around have that wealth of knowledge on its campus. Yes, this does demand the use of science and that does involve coaches that are willing to learn and leave the insecurities aside. But a student-athlete is then given the tools to become the best possible athlete he/she can be. All leads to winning games and fans will come.
