Judge Sweeney and the Colorado 5-5 Lawsuit

Billable hours are undefeated!

Well said

I was in Federal Court yesterday and some young associate was frantically looking through his phone looking for emails he could respond to and bill. I turned to him and said “Defense attorney?” He said “yes, need to get my billables up.” I laughed. I left that grind behind 14 years ago!

So is Woolfolk playing next month or not? Does Dewine’s executive order hold any water?

And the Ohio Supreme Court states no extensions on briefs will be granted. So these attorneys better get there shit filed in a timely fashion!

See my post above. Right now you have Dewine’s executive order he can play and the Ohio Supreme Court, staying the Court of Appeals. So as of right now, he can play.

Sorry, other than Better Call Saul, I don’t have much law knowledge. What could potentially overturn this?

And another ruling against the NCAA, this one from the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis.

Mit Winter on X: "Another preliminary injunction granted against the NCAA. This case challenged the NCAA’s decision on a medical waiver & the new eligibility rule’s applicability to the class of 2022. On the latter, the court held the rule doesn’t exclude the class of 2022." / X

Charlie Baker must be sad. Maybe he can listen to his Blink-182 vinyls.
