Judge Sweeney and the Colorado 5-5 Lawsuit

‘The NCAA had a great day in court’

They are popping bottles in Indianapolis while on the road to a 1-11 record

These schools should just create a different organization to compete against the NCAA

Just about to post that! Will allow Woolfolk and another Miami athlete to play! It’s good having a Miami grad as Governor!!

Well, he’s a waste of space otherwise. May as well do something that benefits a Miami kid.

Go Governor!

So this is official? It cannot be overturned before the season?

We need more governors to follow suit (no pun intended). Even if EOs don’t carry the weight of laws, it would be an incredible escalation by even the NCAA’s standards to say “you are still ineligible and we are challenging any executive order that says otherwise.”

Anyone know if the women’s team had any 5-5 cases or is this unrelated?

Could be!

Am I missing something or doesn’t this executive order seem completely meaningless and toothless? I don’t see what about it changes anything.

So, the school is prohibited from preventing Antwone from playing (cool, we want him on the court) but then Antwone playing would violate NCAA rules?

Does the ncaa have rules anymore?

It means more legal fees to be charged!!

Around now would be a great time for a coach (or even a MAC person) to say “hey it’s pretty unfair if Pav gets to play but these other guys don’t.”

Gov. Dewine to the NCAA:
