The annual Joe Nuxhall classic started today at Prasco Park in Mason with Miami squaring off against Wright State in the first game. It was a wild game, Miami quickly went down 8-0 but came back and managed to hold on to a 22-21 lead in a wild game. It could have been more runs too as Miami stranded 17 runners. They will play the winner of Cincinnati and Xavier in the final.

I feel like we lose bad to the Orville’s and Wilbur’s last year so this is a big step in the right direction.
And just like that, the improving ERA went right into the dumpster! My oh My!
At least we only walked 7 guys compared to wright state who walked 14!

It was a good old-fashioned good one at the old ball orchard.

Crap, wrong symbol. Trying to delete but failing. Sorry.
A guy for Wright State (Sammy Sass) had four home runs in the game.
He also was HBP one time. I wonder if it was on his last at bat?
Nice day of work.

Should have been after the second dinger if he was diving over the plate.
