Good read. I take him at face value that he’s just sick of the transfer BS and other issues and wants to do something else, like regional scouting.
I know for a fact that one drawback for Notre Dame is that its antiquated Rudy-style random room-and-board system, so unlike other schools, hockey players aren’t housed with other hockey players.
Two really good MU players told me in the 10s that they were recruited by Notre Dame and Miami and chose Miami, with that being a key reason.
