Too lazy to Google it for ya, but I think there’s an intermodal stop being built at Chestnut Station or something like that. Seems like it’s going to happen in the next 12-18 months, but until it’s there, it’s all vaporware IMHO.
$3M came in from the state for Butler County RTA.
One of the RTA’s largest projects is the Chestnut Street Station in Oxford. State funds will help complete the final phase of the nearly $26 million multimodal transit hub at 97 W. Chestnut St.
Service is expected to begin Aug. 18, and the station will be fully operational by September."
Article also talks about autonomous cars and an Amtrak stop in 2026.
Nvidia at $180…Actually down slightly since after the opening bell.
It looks like it’s being built on the old Talawanda High School site. Another reminder of how my childhood education memories have been wiped away in the name of progress. McGuffey Lab School is now Nellie Craig Walker Hall, Talawanda is now a parking lot and bus terminal, and Reid Hall is now the Farmer School of Business.
I heard a rumor that Miami re-named its sports teams …
Reid hall had that hand print on the one door. Remember how it was a rumor of regarding Ron Tannen’s disappearance. That he had somehow left it on his door before he left. Total bs but a good urban legend.
Even when Fisher Hall was boarded up (prior to 1978)…When you sneaked in…It was very creepy. Strange sounds.
…and near bottom in academics (except Vandy)
Perfect location to grab some SDS Pizza and grab a midnight train out of town.
