We should be just what the doctor ordered for you guys. Had initially planned to go to Oxford having never been, but our performance the first couple weeks took a lot of steam out of the effort to get out there. This will be the first ever meeting on the gridiron between these two fine institutions, glad to be playing you guys.

I’ve heard it’s great. Like a college town in this (New England) neck of the woods. I still may, see what the weather for next weekend holds…may want one more Summah weekend here (Cape Cod).

Yeah, that’s basically been our “model” the last few years. Since we don’t have a graduate school, many of our better players use their 5th year eligibility after graduating at HC at an FBS school. Unfortunately, we’re now seeing some leave HC now as underclassmen. It’s been a bit rocky here post Bob Chesney. His last year at HC was just 2023…incredibly he’s already at UCLA.

Yeah, college athletics are really a mess today. It’s a shame. It hasn’t gotten too bad in Patriot League football…yet. But Patriot League hoop is annually decimated by our best players leaving for major power programs.
