Mark Stoops has the greatest job. Go 1-2 games over .500, win a bowl game, get another $9 million a year.

Bill b at UNC is gonna get ejected.

My understanding is that the Kentucky brass and fans want Stoops gone (barring a miracle run of wins down the stretch), but his buyout is 37 million due in one lump sum within 60 days of his firing. So that alone may mean he’s safe.

Pay him in Jack D!!

Removing the last zero from the salaries would go part of the way to fix what is wrong with “intercollegiate” athletics which has become a joke.

These things rarely go backwards, but I’m expecting the rate of growth in coaching salaries to level out now that players also are allowed to receive a portion of the value of marginal revenue created by their labor.
