Our granddaughter is attending GCU next year. She is telling me all about their basketball program and how the students love it. I looked it up and discovered that Ed Schilling is an assistant there. Bryce Drew is the head coach. Nice staff for a school I thought was all on line. Little did I know.
They are trying to be the Liberty of the West using basketball as their platform. The school still has some accreditation issues to resolve last time I checked. They are in the WAC.
I was surprised they have 20k students on campus. Enclosed setting in the middle of the city. G daughter is going into their nursing program. The school certainly spends a lot of money recruiting students.
