Always good news for us, the consumers. It has been going on for over 3 weeks now, sparked by a brand new Sheetz opening ( the first one anywhere around here). They immediately opened up at $2.44. 2 Speedways matched it and the 3 Clarks all dropped to $2.42 ( since Covid Clarks has always undercut all other stations by anywhere from 1 cents to a quarter, and has gone from one station to 3 in town.) Anyway this week Sheetz and Speedway were down to $2.33 and Clark’s to $2.30. Loves has also joined in and is at $2.33. For those driving on I-75 There are 3 Sidney exits. Edge of town on he South side has Loves, which has a huge sign showing the Current price to people on the interstate. Edge of town on the North side Sheetz is the only business located at that exit and is directly across from Lehman high School. They have the most towering price sign I have every seen. At the main Sidney exit ( the Middle one) there is a Clarks and a Speedway. You can see the Speedway sign from the interstate, but not the Clarks. If you exit there, turn West and it will be on your right.
Are those prices for regular/87? East side Cincy had gas for $2.68 last week, and currently $3.19, so the Sidney stations can certainly drop their prices further.
Maybe he means $2.44. $3.44 for regular would be quite high.
It’s been a price war surrounding the Cincinnati Dayton Rd intersection with 129 since the opening of the Wawa with prices regularly $0.40 less than everyone else but I think they recently all fell back in line.
Sorry, I am going to go back and change all those 3 somethings to 2 somethings.
Yeah, Marathon at Clough and Mt. Carmel-Tobasco is still $2.68.
Plus the Taco Jared food truck is open there.
Sheets and Wawa seem to be aggressively expanding into Ohio.
Must be the off-season.
Casey’s too.
