At least we’re not ND.
Out of timeouts with 10 minutes left in the game. Don’t ever change, Coach.
Hippenhammer gets his 2nd score of the game.
Hesson warming up
Fair enough, but he has had a very checkered history when it comes to injuries throughout his career. AJ Mayer saw a fair amount of play time the last few seaosns. I like Smith though, considering it’s his first game. Some errant passes here and there, but plenty of good ones, and he’s kept his composure pretty well. But yeah, against UC, well, I’m not exactly looking forward to that.
Great crowd he says. 5 to 6,000 maybe more.
This broadcast team is not ready for prime time.
Has there been any statement regarding the injuries of Gabbert and Coldiron. Do we have a timeframe?
I heard him say “tremendous crowd.” I laughed.
Speaking of AJ Mayer, I just googled him out of curiosity, and he got some cleanup time today against the Buckeyes. 5/8 35 yds, 4 carries 12 yds.
There was a decent amount of students at the beginning who have now migrated Uptown. I believe we are surrounded by band parents.
Hot take: Hesson looks better
They aren’t Rocky Boiman, that’s for sure.
This is the only small silver lining (and it’s small) to the situ we are in. We can see what we have.
It doesn’t look like we’ll beat the spread.
Hey, 1st time QB, so it wasnt the blowout we were hoping for, and there were some shaky moments. And the defense took a while to settle in. But we still beat them soundly, and that’s all that matters.
Why in the world would you get anywhere near that football?
Bobby Mo gets a meaningless touchdown.
Wooo. It took 12 years but we finally have revenge for RMU’s bizarre sweep against the 2010 hockey team.
Overall, not so impressive. Nice moments, but overall intensity and ability to control the game not there. Smith was alright, Hesson was ok, and our “great” line was frankly lackluster. We should have opened holes at will given the hype.
We will struggle to be a .500 team in conference play.
