He was behind Larvadain last year. He was also pretty raw coming out of HS.
People might not remember but it wasnt going great in week 1 either
From left field….
What does Chuck do post Dequan Finn? He goes to GVSU and plucks their QB that just transferred from UC.
Brady Drogosh was two time state champ and Mr football his senior year. 4-star recruit and top 50 national. He would have two years of eligibility remaining for ‘26 and ‘27.
Not sure putting any weight on HS recruiting stats is worthwhile when you also have two years where he couldn’t see the field as a QB (3 snaps), converted to LB and still didn’t play and then transferred down to D2.
We all would have been walking around like we were on Cialis, had we signed him out of high school. At a specific (fleeting) point in time, recruiting ratings do matter.
I haven’t sern anything on quarter back on any transfer site that us coming from uc to miami
Try Brady Drogosh, who stopped at Grand Valley for a year after UC. Highly rated coming out of HS.
Well, to be clear, he’s not actually enrolled at Miami though right? I believe he just transferred to GVSU this winter. So he hasn’t been there a year.
Still shocked herny hesso. Hasn’t transferred out this is his last year
Players still have an opportunity to enter the transfer portal after Spring practice when they have a good idea of where they stand on the depth chart.
This is all “next on the board” prognostication….he will play a year (maybe) and see if he can get back into D1.
If history repeats we might see the complete 2025 MAC schedule released sometime in the next 10 days.
Supposedly CMU has reported it will come out within the next 2 weeks
Drew Pyne, current back-up to QB Brady Cook at Mizzou, is looking to transfer. 6th year senior, started at Notre Dame, transferred to Arizona State, then Mizzou … his dad is one of the guys who started IMG Academy.
Not really sure what the point is, but if Chuck wants to give him a looksie, why not?
Transfer here so he can…ride the pyne?
Very nice.
Possibly four schools in six years. Gotta love the new world. Maybe he transfers to Murry State where he’s a lock as a starter!
I noticed Joe Humpheys is back in the portal - leaving Murray State with two years of eligibility. Since coming out of high school in 2022 with lots of G5 and FCS offers, he is yet to play a single down of college football. This game can certainly dismantle high school dreams!
Joe was, I think, the top rated QB in Kentucky in his class. Murray State for those who don’t know is in the Western part of the Bluegrass State. Last year they were a not so wonderful 1-11 under their first year coach. Who the hell knows what the conversations were between coaches and Joe.
Poked bit of fun at Murry not realizing that’s where Joe went. Nice little school in small town setting. Not unlike Oxford-rural and bit in the boonies surrounded by corn and beans and semi-near Land Between The Lakes.
A near miss on a tornado last night, too.
From 1-11 Murray no place for Joe to go but D2 or maybe Georgetown KY.
