I think it was the only Texas team on his list of suitors. Apparently they were the high bidders.
They’ll probably sign an entire team and coach as we’ve seen elsewhere.
Eewww……the mid-size 12……didn’t Michigan offer him?
They didnt offer him as much apparently
I would imagine the players at Kent State won’t be super happy to see him again. Tech plays them week two next year. Oddly enough Tech doesn’t play UC next year or else Reggie would have been playing two of the same teams he’d get at Miami.
Texas Tech is not messing around.
They have Reggie even after spending $1 million on a softball pitcher.
Oil is not dead.
Also if I had to speculate the depth chart at a program like Texas Tech isn’t as crowded as the likes of Michigan. Maybe not WR1 but a lot more likely he sees the field more than Gage did for South Carolina.
NIL aside, TT threw for 2,000 more yards than Michigan. He made the right decision.
Just signing with Michigan because it’s Michigan is why many guys end up in the portal in the first place, and why, for many decades, guys either never saw the field or had to sit out while transferring to a school where they could get playing time.
My poorly articulated point is that if you’re going to leave, at least go to a program/conference where you’ll get to play for something
If you’re not on the field, you’re literally not playing for anything.
What a “ Cluster”,Marshall.
Would Army even want to play a 5-7 team? They won the conference, they play Navy (their real “bowl game” anyway) today. Playing a losing team would be a rather anticlimactic finish to the memorable season.
And Marshall’s season goes down in flames
Marshall hates America. Confirmed.
Louisiana Tech will play Army.

Suprised to see this but would be a very big get if we can secure it
Veltkamp is likely the QB Chuck was referring to during the Zoom last week. Said we had an all conference QB in the portal coming for a visit. I believe he, Veltkamp, was a RS sophomore this year.
