Is Reds baseball on You tube tv?
We have everything with Spectrum-TV, internet, cell phones, home phone (yes we still have a landline), and my law firm. Except for TV Spectrum is competitive and I like not having contracts. They have also been dependable with few outages. But right now, I am pissed.
And for those that don’t know, ACC Network is part of ESPN.
I do prefer Spectrum’s service over Cincy Bell but I’m willing to play the game to get the price I’m willing to pay.
I kept my cell phones seperate because I wanted the freedom to bounce when the price got too high without the hassle of moving the phones somewhere else. Once the initial home install is done you can do all the equipment installs yourself now so it’s much more convenient to switch back and forth.
I hope this isn’t a sign of the times. To date Spectrum has seemingly been immune to the carriage disputes that plague other providers.
What about GLOW? I love me some wrestling!
Unfortunately, no.
I’m working with a place to see if their satellite is going to broadcast the game. Being Friday night high school football, things may work out. But we’ll see
Me too!
My idea didn’t pan out.
But I did look at my ESPN+ and saw the game is streaming thru that. So I may use that was to watch the game
Sadly, I cannot get espn plus on my phone as it’s a jitterbug although it has nice, oversized buttons. Also, my carrying case is made of rich, Corinthian leather.
Make sure it works. Last night when I tried to get on some games with ESPN+ I was blocked. And I do pay for ESPN+ separate from Spectrum.
Seems like we would have been better off if the game were just on ESPN Plus rather than the ACC network. It’s all so confusing.
Yep, I tried today. Tried with my vpn on and then off.
No go. Don’t see any solution except a settlement real quickly or a sports bar. Spectrum has been good to me, pricey, but reliable. Only reason I would leave them would be if this lasts a long time. BTW, I did report them to the FCC once but we came to a compromise agreement through a mediator.
They must have that on my account as I am always treated with respect. Not helping now though.
Check out this article from Cincinnati.com:
‘The video ecosystem is broken.’ ESPN, Disney blackout could be permanent, Spectrum says
I called Spectrum customer service to complain. Listened to their company line. I expressed my displeasure about paying for channels I was not getting. Immediate $15 credit. That might cover your first couple beers at your local tavern showing the game tonight.
ESPN owns the ACC and SEC networks, so I’d assume both are off Spectrum for now.
I also received a $15 credit. Yes, the ACC is off Spectrum also. Supposedly I will get e mail updates on the negotiations.
Fubo should have at least a one week trial to get you through the weekend. I imagine Spectrum will have ESPN back by this time next week.
ESPN isn’t broadcasting Ohio State so Scrotum doesn’t care.
I signed up for the free trial (21 days) of Youtube TV and its working fine. The multiscreen option is icredible!! Cant wait to use it tomorrow and the next few weekends, just gotta rember to cancel on the 20th so I don’t chargec $79.99.
