Wichita along with Dayton for sites. WAB dropped from 40 to 55. So if you are WAB in the 50-55 range, you are pretty much a lock for the expanded tournament.
Wichita may not be sexy, but I’m glad it isn’t the 100th sports team/event in Vegas.
I think the biggest selling point was probably the local fanbase that will sell the place out regardless of who’s playing. Being in the central time zone probably helped a lot too given the quick turnaround for the teams that advance.
