Not quite what the list means, the writer (Bill C, also does the SP+ computer rankings) is essentially ranking one week performances as a way to highlight big games for players. And then at the end of the season, the individual lists can be added up to be compared to the real Heisman finalists.

But still a good acknowledgement of a great game.
