I’ll be there.
This is my “home” game. I will be there with my son, another Miami grad, and a good friend.
Then, my son and I are going to Kalamazoo for the Western game next Saturday. I am from Kalamazoo, so we will hit our favorite restaurant in Paw Paw for the world’s best pizza to eat on the way back to the city.
I sure hope, and expect, that the results of these two games will be much different than last season. Those two losses really hurt us. Payback time.
And I’m still pissed about how the Western fball team beat up Gotkowski in the first half of the game. They intentionally all but assaulted him to get him out of the game. Of our first five offensive plays, there were two roughing the passer penalties. At that point I knew what we were in for. Gotkowski was a threat. Hesson was not. They got what they wanted. I, for one, have a long memory about this kind of crap.
