Bratton is a huge loss.
She looked to be someone who would develop into a very good player. I didn’t know she was in the portal.
So she is committing to Marshall. That is 5 girls out, all guards.
On Saturday Buffalo set an attendance record of almost 6,000 and won the WNIT. As of today they have 3 girls left on their roster. The others either used up their eligibility or are in the portal. What they have left are two freshman guards who did not play much and Cornfield, if she chooses to use the Juco year she got back, but you would think with everybody else leaving if she is going to play another year, she will probably transfer. Her and Kristen Louis Williams if they had both returned would have been the best 2 stars on one team in the MAC next season. I wonder if Coach Burke will be trying to jump somewhere, she would be a very attractive candidate at pretty much any level. Hope Coach Box kicks the tires on getting those two girls, adding them to our bigs and Tamar would put us in as good a position as anyone in the league. They would provide great all around play and would make up for all the lost points at our wing positions.
