Miami’s sports week reached its apex on Wednesday with Football’s win over Akron and Field Hockey’s NCAA win over Cal. It was all down hill from there. Elimination of FH by Northwestern, losses for both men’s and women’s hoops. An uncompetitive sweep of ice hockey by CC and two losses to Akron for volleyball.

Swimming and Diving and Sync Skating were bright spots.

Hoping to get on the winning path again when football takes on Buffalo on Wednesday.

Is it just me, or do we seem to play NW in field hockey whenever we’re in the tournament?

They attempt, when possible, to keep FH regionals pretty regional. NW is a perennial host and close to us.

In FH you get fed either to the Northwestern bracket or the UNC bracket. We’ve been fed to both.

We also played there in Softball last year.
