Did You Ever Think You Would See This-SOLD OUT MILLETT!

The view in that pic at Millet is almost exactly where my seats were for the 1976 game against WMU. Very cool! (At least for me!)

Is this with the upper sections tarped or open?

What is this “sold out” of which you speak?

If it was tarped, presumably they’d take the tarps off and sell more tickets

Bake said during the UB broadcast that they’re expecting over 8000 for the NIU game since it sounds like the tarps are mostly coming off, if it’s an announced sellout we’re probably looking at 9000.

Not a news flash to the operations team, but we need to be ready to staff/supply tickets and concessions as much as possible. Can’t have a disaster like the 2023 Northwestern road game.

Exactly, and quickly move people into the arena.

The lines were long last Saturday 45 minutes before the game w 5k attendance and only 2 stands open. The volunteers need to be trained better.

The volunteers were nice enough and I still tipped them 25% but most of them had 2 gears, park and neutral.

Women’s hockey plays at 12:00 at Goggin if you are looking for a Miami double-header that day.

Please,Mom Miami, don’t screw this up. Make the game day a great experience from parking through concessions to exiting. The team will take care of their end of the deal, take care of yours.

Confirmed tarps off, 100% capacity (outside of student tickets open)

With people able to grab up to 10 free tickets, my concern is that they are “sold out” but that there will be no-shows tickets that wont be used. I’m hoping for a jam packed Millet!

Wallys sr. Basketball team awards dinner had to be held at Millet. Tables set up on the court.Several hundred fans attended.

Way too big of a crowd for any other venue at Miami!

Charlie Coles presided. Epic!

I hope they oversold because of that. We have certainly had overcapacity crowds before. There are standing areas
