Also just read that Delaware has a $48 million athletics budget which is higher than any CUSA schools except Liberty & much higher than Miami.

It’s $10 mil more than Miami spends on athletics. For reference, Miami spends $14mil more than Bowling Green. Buffalo leads the MAC in spending at $39 mil

Now CUSA should add UMass and UConn to Delaware and have a 12 team conference with those three and Liberty as it’s northeastern pod.

Strange that Delaware waited until the price went from a few thousand to $5 million to join the club before making the decision to move up. They’ve been discussing this in Newark for the past 25 years.
