Boucher Treadwell’s last year does. Not his fault, there was zero talent around and nobody could’ve been successful in that offense.

Mike Haywood had the smarts to surround himself with a handful of top assistants;;;Bull Reese and Mo Watts were terrific.

An option offense can be very effective if you have a great running QB who can throw a little…that’s what the great Miami teams of the 70’s did w Sherm Smith at QB…he was converted into excellent RB in the NFL. We had guys like Randy Walker and Rob Carpenter behind home at RB as well.
With Aveon at QB and our slate of small but speedy backs, we could conceivably run this offense effectively.
