This is a really tragic situation. Hopefully the driver goes to prison for a long time
In a past life I defended a major trucking company in a case where their driver got wasted and killed a guy. It’s close to the most unsympathetic position possible for a defendant; your only hope representing the company is that you can avoid punitive damages.
Would expect better, Chuck. Only rep plaintiffs.
