Cords

As I’ve mentioned in other posts, I’ve now lost both my parents, and I’m cleaning and reorganizing.
There are so many cords. What are we doing with cords? I must be able to keep some and throw away some but what and how?

See if there is an E-waste recycling center in your neck of the woods.

I’d surmise that most or even all of the cords are no longer compatible with newer electronics. Find someone who can help you decipher what is what.

Extension cords might still be useful, or if there are any Ethernet cables.

I know it’s rough going through those things, but just throw them away. You’ll spend more time and stress yourself more trying to find the right place for chords then to just get rid of them. Believe me, people throw a lot worse things into the trash these days than old electrical cords.

You can recycle them. They often offer bulky item pick up with most garbage pick up. It’s free where we live.
