The walkon is now on scholarship. She has certainly earned it. She is 3rd on the team in made threes and is tied for 4th in minutes played. Since we had two girls quit the team after practice started, I would assume that they retained their scholarship for the semester but those scholarships became open in late December. We have 5 signed recruits for next season so that scholarship may or may not be available for next year, but Clare is playing ahead of 4 current scholarship players and she deserves this.
