I actually hate that we have that reaction.

Indeed. I was watching the game in a Pittsburgh restaurant. I still remember where I was sitting.
I can still feel the confetti I had in my hand, ready to throw when time ran out.

My friend was a ga at wmu and is at the game. I told her dont even get ready to celebrate until its 0.00 on the clock.
It was my senior year. I was there in the band. I know the guy who was Swoop at the game. He had the box of championship gear in his hands (wings?) ready to run out onto the ice.

Never would have guessed back in the #WhyWestern days that they would win a championship before we did. Ugh. Iām happy for them (and certainly didnāt want BU to win!) but it still stings.

This. Iām glad BU lost but itās annoying to see another school (especially a fellow MAC school) celebrating a national title while weāre still without one. At least this shows it can be done by a school that is predominantly a MAC school in the modern landscape of college athletics.
Coach Noreen, please get this program back to the point where we have a reason to look forward to Selection Sunday, games in late March, and games in April.
