Pleased to see that Maya Chandler has been named an assistant coach for the coming year.
Watching her this past year on the floor I thought she would have a future in coaching. Glad to see it has worked out at Miami.

And with that, Megan Belke is gone.
It appears she just (as in days ago) left for a junior assistant job at Malone. (On the roster she’s the last-listed assistant.)
Congratulations Megan. Another step forward. Personally I will miss your friendliness and personality.
Malone sounds like the name of a cop on a Law and Order episode.

Maya was kind of a player coach at times this year. She had more game experience than anybody else and spent Some time in preseason practice when I was there explaining some things to the new players. I am not surprised she wants to be a coach, this is a perfect situation for her first coaching job.
