Coach Dan Dalrymple has been hired to be the head strength coach of The Denver Broncos. He’s a great human and talented guy, so I guess I’ll have to like the Broncos now. Congrats to coach D.

Dan’s dad made the trip to Seattle with the team in ‘84. Met them both during the Friday walkthrough. I was the Seattle Alumni Chapter president. Mariners’s Community Relations guy Randy Stearnes (Miami Alum) and I got permission from Tim Rose to leave some Mariners giveaway items in the teams Husky Stadium lockers that day.

Coach D was a great strength and conditioning coach for us when I was there. I wish we could bring back talent like that and pay him enough because that is a big part of what makes teams better or even great. He really helped make everyone work hard to be their best.
