Guess IU wanted revenge for Larry Bird still.
This is a perfect example of how ridiculous these games have become. I was following this all night. At one point late in the second quarter ISU had 2 yards of total offense. I know they need money, ISU. But for FCS schools the situation is even worse than for the G6 schools. What good players they have will immediately leave to move to FBS, even up to G6 schools like Ball State likely pay more than ISU football can. So they are left with not even the few FBS level talent players they used to have. The monetary model of college athletics is broken. This game is a perfect example. ISU was 2-0 heading into this game. Granted those wins were against EIU and McKendree, but they at least were a program that had wins. Games like this are a total farce. I feel sorry for the players, and the coaches forced to play them.
I think we’ve finally reached the tipping point this season where FCS teams and HBCU teams should no longer be playing P4 teams.

Well, Mallory is 26-56 as HC at Indiana State, so he would have been a perfect Brad Bates hire!!
In fairness, Notre Dame and Miami have the same record.
