Happy 213th Birthday, Miami. Sadly, the Charter Day Ball and the Alumni Dinner have been cancelled again this year. They were to have taken place on Wednesday. COVID.
It was scheduled for February 19th.

That’s Wednesday, right?
That’s a Saturday next month on my calendar. 
Damn. My bad. I was looking at the wrong month. The mind is the second thing to go. I can’t remember what the first thing is.
Lucky kids. I had to go to one of those back in the aughts, rented a tux and everything. I recall the rental shoes made my foot numb for a few weeks thereafter. The old lady loved it though, which is of course why we attend these ridiculous things in the first place.
