Interesting trivia regarding the starting QB’s of the Final Four teams.

All four Qb’s got to their current schools through the transfer portal.

Two of the four played HS football in Michigan. Chambliss (Grand Rapids) and Moore (Detroit).

Mendoza originally committed to play for Yale before decommitting and going to Cal.

Chambliss was at DII Ferris State for four years. Redshirt as a freshman and then only played 2 games in his 2nd year. Seeking a waiver to allow him to play another year in college. Some suggest if he gets it he may follow Lane and Charlie Weis, Jr. to LSU.

Carson Beck originally committed to play baseball at Florida before deciding to focus on football. Originally committed to Alabama before switching to Georgia.

Moore spent his freshman year at UCLA.

Nothing simple about college athletics any more.

probably and probably not. Before you could rely on depth and continuity of scheme O-line and skill position players etc, now everything is year by year.
