Thats a question for Jive, but historically when a guy goes out first game and misses the season, he gets a medical exemption. I think they call it a grey shirt. But since covid changes and everything thats happened since, i dont know a lot of the new rules.
Too bad it was a good play fake and we had two guys wide open
Not sure how that works…with bowl…
But he would not have played 4 games.
Oh that QB run should have been stuffed…there was help outside but the defender went for the fake and let him go inside
A one yard drive in four plays.
We need to go back to the ground game.
Bummer…hey we have to move the ball, bring the pressure from before as well.
Who’s color guy…sounds like rooting for UB.
Smith just isn’t that sharp on his passes…just a little off here and there…can we get Shelton in and run it?
Seems like he is close though…get creative.
Haven’t seen Bester - he must still be out, too…
A grey shirt is when a team has an incoming freshman enroll in January to delay their eligibility clock and push the year their scholarship counts since you can only have 25 new scholarship players per year.
My understanding of the medical redshirt rule is the injury must be “incapacitating”. So if Brett played in a bowl game, it wouldn’t meet that requirement. He does meet the other requirements of the injury occurring during the first half of the season and only playing in 30% of games. That said, he can play in 3 more games this year and be eligible for a standard redshirt.
Crap…that penalty costs is 30 yards
We have Mozee though…we need a Tracy or Brunson mix.
Mozee starts slow but if he gets through the first line he really accelerates
Bummer there…but impressive strength by Aveon.
I wouldn’t mind us running on 2Nd and 6
that is such a bummer
Smith has great vision when running! Run him more!
Finally, a call that goes our way.
Disaster!!!
Why the hell do we try to get fancy when we’re running the ball right down the field.
