Question: how many bowls slots are guaranteed for the MAC this year? I think it is 5 but could be 6.
We are going no matter what. The world wants to see Touchdown Tommy, Dom the Destroyer, and The Trickster!
It should be at least 5, Bahamas Bowl would be the sixth and was cancelled, but ESPN at the time said they’d fill league commitments through other ESPN-operated bowls, which maybe means 6.
Thanks!
If Buffalo wins, I guess we will have 6 bowl eligible teams. Best to have a 7-5 record at a minimum.
Maybe we can go to the Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans!

Love those Bush beans!
The Bush Bowl! ![]()
At times in our lives, we all need to roll that beautiful bean footage.
Maybe that time is now? I still think Duke is an asshooe blabbermouth for trying to give away the family recipe. If that worthless cur was mine, he would find his ass in the pound. But, maybe I need to forgive and forget. If we played in that game, I’d be ok with it. Question: does the winning coach get covered in beans?
The idea of Chuck (the person not the statue) getting a postgame bean bath is very intriguing to me.
Bush’s baked beans over a bed of Frito’s covered with shredded cheddar, onions, and jalapenos is awesome.
Agreed. Now, as a litigator, where do you stand on the Duke issue I raised. The bean recipe is their IP. You’d certainly recommend Duke get fired, no?
Edit: sorry, I am not certain you are a lawyer. My mistake.
I’m way too dumb.
If a dog wants to hump the leg of a bean-covered Chuck, I’m not going to stop him.
Fair point.
Perusing (mostly meaningless) bowl projections (which I didn’t allow myself to view until we secured the win against Buffalo), and note that the NY Times has us in Myrtle Beach vs. ODU. (not bad).
ESPN’s two pundits have us in Snoop Bowl (highly doubtful two years in a row), and Boca Raton (nice destination for team).
Playing in that Beans Bowl game would be an absolute gas! I’m all in for Myrtle!
Sir, show some respect, it’s The Bowl of Beans.
Good thing it’s played in FAU’s oceanfront stadium - nice sea breeze fragrance..
I attended the Boca Bowl when Toledo (Shatner voice “DEQUAAAAAAAAAAAAN”) beat Liberty a few years back. Nice stadium!
