I read that Mizzou basketball is hosting Kentucky that day and they didn’t want a basketball/football conflict, hence why they’re passing on the Liberty Bowl. Pretty sure the time of the games also overlap a bit too.

Bummer. I might be far enough along with my PT to go to the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Dec 19. I was looking forward to it since this is the first fall I can remember that I haven’t been able to go to a single game. I went last year and saw ODU and Tulsa. I ended up sitting in the Tulsa section and they won.
Problem is this year, it looks like it’s going to be Marshall vs Liberty. I would have to wear my purple Washington gear and sit in the end zone as a visibly dispassionate observer.

Bowls are all set. EMU headed to Boise and BG goes to Detroit to play New Mexico State.Ohio goes to Tucson and Toledo to Boca. Buffalo gets the trip to Montgomery.

Other than it being difficult for fans to attend, given the disappointment of this season, I think we got a pretty good bowl game…certainly fun for the players and coaches. Normally I would expect to beat a 6-6 team from C-USA, but UAB looks pretty decent (and will be favored). Be nice to win!
