If only Joe West and Angel Hernandez were behind the plate. Oh the joy of having missed calls from those two idiots overturned in real time. ABS would wipe that smirk right off of West’s face. Think about how many managers wouldn’t have been tossed if ABS were a thing back in the day.

We’re probably only gonna have 1-2 seasons of hybrid ABS/umpires before it all gets converted to full-time ABS, but the humiliation and entertainment value of egotistic umps will be a lot of fun in the meantime. Also the emerging strategy is pretty interesting as well.
